Lore Lindu National Park is a national park located in Central Sulawesi. The area has several types of forest ecosystems different, including, pamah tropical forest ecosystems with high rainfall, lower montane forest ecosystems, mountain forest ecosystems, and ecosystems with different species composition. With an area of 231,000 hectares, not only have different types of flora and fauna, but also has a variety of ancient megalithic sites.

There are approximately 431 megalithic sites that we can meet here. Some types of megalithic monuments in Lore Lindu National Park, in the form of stone sculptures of man, large vase (kalamba), disc (tutu'na), convex stones (stones dakon), stone mortar, and a pillar of the house that differ- different forms. Various studies on the megalithic ever conducted says that the megalithic sites in Lore Lindu National Park dating back to 1300 BC. The highest megalithic which is still standing reach 4 meters, but most have a height of about 1,5 - 2,5 meters.
